The SAGE program at Terramar integrates many disciplines ranging from science, social studies, history, the arts, and others into the literature studies. Writing is a major aspect of developing communication skills as is creating various projects to show understanding. Students will hopefully have a broader understanding of a literary work through activities that extend not only the themes but make connections to the real world.

    Literature Studies

Literature studies are for an in depth look at an exemplary work of writing or author. Understanding of literary elements and building vocabulary are emphasized. Another focus is developing an enjoyment of various genres and styles of writing. Literature studies also provide the springboard for jumping into related disciplines and areas of study.
