Welcome to 6th Grade Science with Ms. Nelson!

I grew up in California and I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2017 to finish my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I moved down to Phoenix in 2019, and I began working with children with behaviors at Child and Family Services. Being a teacher wasn't my first career. I was actually in school to be a nurse, and I was working at the hospital in the ICU as a Certified Nursing Assistant. It was rewarding but very hard, and now I am following in my Grandma's footsteps in being a teacher. I am so excited to finally be where I am meant to be. 

I grew up playing sports and watching sports. I love anything outdoors. I love camping and fishing and I try to get out as much as I can. I also love roller coasters and anything thrilling. In 2015, I went skydiving, and I hope one day I get to go again.
