• The Deer Valley Unified School District Governing Board commissioned an efficiency study with the firm of Heinfeld, Meech & Company.  Some of the results include:

    - The District spends more money on direct instruction than comparable districts, peer districts, and the State as a whole.

    - Administrative costs are higher than comparable districts, due to a legacy post-retirement health insurance benefit not common among comparable districts.

    - The District has more certified staff FTE than the average responding districts, however a lower ADM per FTE for certified staff.
