    Our amazing Preschools and Prekindergarten programs engage students in learning and encourage them to explore. "We've got what you want!"

     

    Community Education Preschool & Prekindergarten programs promote the physical, mental, social, emotional, and creative development of each child through a literacy-rich, play-based learning environment using a partnership with staff, parents/guardians, and the community.  

    Young people are our most valuable resource for the future, and we encourage active learning with opportunities for self-esteem, enhancement, discovery, and decision-making through classroom instruction aligned with our . Community Education Preschool and Prekindergarten instructors use to empower confident, creative, caring learners.

    Building Blocks

    Registration for the Preschool and Prekindergarten general education program is an online process.  Certain documentation must be on file with Community Education before a registration contract is approved, and we urge you to submit these records in advance.   

    Please submit a copy of your child's immunizations and birth certificate if you are planning to register.

    Your registration contract will only be approved when you submit the required documentation!

    Hours and Locations

    Preschool education is available in the 2023-24 school year at:  Arrowhead Elementary, Boulder Creek High School, Greenbrier Elementary, Mountain Ridge High School, Paseo Hills School, Sandra Day O'Connor High School, and Sunset Ridge School.

    Prekindergarten education is available in the 2023-24 school year at:  Arrowhead Elementary, Boulder Creek High School, Copper Creek School, Diamond Canyon School, Greenbrier Elementary, Legend Springs Elementary, Mountain Ridge High School, Norterra Canyon School, Paseo Hills School, Sandra Day O'Connor High School, and Sunset Ridge School.

    Age and Readiness Requirements

    Early Learning Center (Toilet Training is NOT required)

    2-Year Old Program: The child must reach the age of 2 by the first day of school (July 31, 2023). A child reaching the age of 2 between the first day of school and August 31 may begin attending once they have reached this birthday.

    3-Year Old Program: For students who have reached the age of 3 by August 31, 2023.

     

    Preschool (Toilet Training IS required)

    3-Year Old Program: For children between the ages of 3-5. (Depending on the location, a 3-year old preschool program may consist of children ages 3-4 or 3-5 years old). A child reaching the age of 3 between the first day of school and August 31,2023, may begin attending once they have reached this birthday.

     

    Prekindergarten (Toilet Training IS required)

    4-Year Old Program: For children between the ages of 4-5. A child must reach the age of 4 by August 31, 2023, to attend.

    Tuition and Fees

    One full month of tuition plus the registration fee will be CHARGED at the time of contract approval for all registrants and is non-refundable.

        • Registration Fee
          • $50 per child, non-refundable
        • Half Days: $432 per month tuition for HALF DAY. First month is non-refundable.
        • Full Days: $720 per month tuition for FULL DAY. First month is non-refundable.
        • Early Learning Center (Community Education Building)
          • Two-year-olds: $280 per month. First month is non-refundable.
          • Three-year olds: $305 per month tuition. First month is non-refundable.
        • Extended options
          • $168 per month for morning, mid-day, or afternoon sessions.
      • Gifted PreKindergarten Academy at Las Brisas
        • Full Day:  $792/month

    How to Register

    Registration for the 2024-25 school year begins February 8, 2024.

    • Current registrants: If you already have an Eleyo account for Before & After Care, Summer Camp, or Enrichment classes, you just need to add your incoming preschooler(s) to your account.
    • New registrants: Log into . Create your Family Profile which will include the owner/payer for the registration contract (usually parent or guardian) as well as the attending student(s).
    • Create a preschool contract
    • Forward each student's required documentation in pdf form via email to Community Education. (For additional methods of sending your records, please see our .) Include in the subject line: "Child LAST name, Preschool Docs"
      • Current immunizations record
      • Copy of birth certificate
      • If applicable, a copy of court-issued custody papers
    • NOTE that creating a profile is not a registration. 
      • Once you have created your profile, please make sure you proceed with submitting a preschool contract for enrollment.
      • You will be asked for some of the same information during the application process as part of the Emergency Information form required by the .
      • The registration fee and first month's tuition are due upon contract approval and are non-refundable.

    Community Education Status

    All Community Education programs are funded solely through the tuition fees and, as such, are subject to minimum enrollment and may be cancelled if this is not met.
