**Health Center is closed as of May 17th 2024 for Summer Break!! Please check back 1 week prior to New school year starting for any updates!! Have a Great Summer!!**

The Health Center is staffed by a full time RN and part time assistant.

The Health Center is located in the administration building just across the hall from the front office.  Please make sure that your contact numbers are kept current so that we can always reach you in case of an emergency. It is also helpful for you to keep us in your contact numbers so you know when the school nurse is calling and please make sure your mailbox is not full.

We provide on-campus health screenings, assessment, and education as well as first-aid and nursing care for students, staff, and visitors. The Health Center is not a primary care facility. By law, the nurse is not allowed to make a medical diagnosis or prescribe treatmentPlease do not send your child to school with an ailment asking them to be diagnosed by the nurse as we cannot do that as that is not within our scope of practice. Contact your primary care doctor for that. When accidents or illness occur during school hours, basic first-aid and/or emergency care will be given according to Arizona State Board of Nursing standards and practices. The nurse may suggest further medical follow up in certain circumstances. Further care is the responsibility of the parents.

    To all parents and guardians:

The nurse cannot dispense any medications that have not been provided and signed for by a parent or guardian. This includes cough drops, neosporin, chap stick, and other common treatments.  All medications must be in their original packaging and if it is a prescription medication, it must be labeled with the correct dose and times with a separate order from your provider. A child can never bring medication to school or carry it on their person with the exception of inhaler, epi-pens, or insulin and testing supplies (parents will be required to sign a form to allow students to self carry). Medication forms can be picked up from the school nurse.

Medications can be dropped off at the Health Center for the school year by parent or guardian only.  Please do not send your student to school with any medications, or drop them off at the front office. In accordance with the Arizona School Board Association and the 香港六合彩资料 Governing Board Policy JLCD, a written doctor's order will now be required for any prescription medication or dietary supplement.  In addition parent/guardian consent is required for over the counter medications and medications must be supplied by the parent/guardian as there are no "stock" medications kept on campus.  These forms can be obtained from the school nurse.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we can be of assistance.
