I have been an educator for over 30 years in the Deer Valley Unified School District. I graduated from Arizona State University and started teaching middle school science. After 14 years at the middle school level, I came to SDOHS where I also was a science teacher. Nine years ago I became the Student Academic Advisor at OC, a position where I work with teachers, counselors, administration, parents and students to assist the struggling student in finding academic success.
On a personal note, I am a single parent who raised two children. Both of my adult children have married with successful careers and familes of their own.
