    It is important to join the PTSA every year. Part of your membership dues go to the Arizona PTA for necessary items such as subsidizing the insurance policy to protect us from theft as well as advocacy for our schools at the state and national level. Over half of your membership payment stays with the Sonoran Foothills PTSA to help pay for. . .
    *fun family events such as our annual ice cream social
    *equipment and technology for classroom teachers and special area teachers
    *educational materials used in the classroom
    *teacher appreciation events

    Joining the PTSA gives you a vote and a voice at general PTSA meetings throughout the year, and enables you to serve on PTSA committees and run for PTSA board officer positions for the next school year. Joining the PTSA is a way to support our school even if you are not able to volunteer your time. Our PTSA members will get discounted tickets to events this year such as the winter carnival, bingo night, and the dollar auction. PTSA members also get free admission to our Donuts for Dad event on September 16th.
