I grew up in Oklahoma with my parents and older brother. I moved out to Arizona to attend the University of Arizona, where I received a BA in Elementary Education. I graduated in 2006 and moved to Phoenix and began teaching. I completed my Masters in Educational Technology from Grand Canyon University in 2013. This is my 17th year teaching and my 15th year in the Deer Valley School District. I have taught grades 2nd-5th. I love teaching and molding young minds for the future.
Outside of school, I love to hang out with my husband, Matthew, our son, Jack (8), our daughter Abby (5), and our dog, Lucy. Together we love to play games, go for long walks, cook, drink coffee, and watch movies.
