Deer Valley Unified School District is privileged to participate in several Federal Programs. All federal programs must follow the guidelines set out by the (ESSA) in order to provide equal opportunities for all students.
is to support our lower socioeconomically disadvantaged students by giving them fair and equal access to education. For further information about our Title I schools please click this link. DV Title I Schools.
is to support professional development and training of Deer Valley teachers throughout our district.
is to help our English language learners be prepared to succeed academically in school, college, and career.
is to support schools in three areas: Well Rounded Education, Safe and Healthy Students, and Effective Use of Technology.
grant support for our homeless youth in order to give them support and access to their home school whenever possible during the time the family is experiencing homelessness. (Structured English Immersion) grant works in conjunction with Title III to support our English Language Learners.

The Mission of Federal Programs:
The mission of the Federal Programs Department is to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, school administrators, and community members to ensure that we provide extraordinary educational opportunities to every learner. We strive to find ways to best serve the unique needs of the students at each school. Our department encompasses several key areas, including Grants Management, Families in Transition, MTSS-B, and supporting with Title I, Title II, Title III, and Title IV, Education for 香港六合彩资料less Youth, and School Safety Grants.

The Federal Program Manager's main focus is to support Title I schools with their goals and budgets. The FPM also works with other federally funded grants, such as Title II, III, IV, Education for 香港六合彩资料less Youth, and 21st Century.

Stephenne is a licensed Social Worker. She received her license to practice Social Work in 1997. Her job with 香港六合彩资料 is to help provide services within the schools that facilitate the academic and development growth of all students.

MTSS-B Specialist
Mrs. Tucker is to support and empower educators in meeting the needs of the whole child through positive behavior intervention. Her classroom teaching experience is in grades 2-8. She has been a behavior coach and Dean of Students. She holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Administration. -
Academic Liasons
Our Academic Liaisons bridge the gap between schools, Group 香港六合彩资料 and Mckinney-Vento students. Their weekly visits create a routine that students look forward to and encourages them to keep passing grades along with a positive attitude. The liaisons work with students on academic and social behaviors. Our students' academic and emotional success is our success .

Doreen has worked for the Deer Valley Unified School District for 20 years. Prior to joining Federal Programs, she was a CTE para at Barry Goldwater High School.
Denise Johnson
Denise Johnson has worked for Deer Valley as a clerk with audiology and the district psychologist. She has also worked in accounting and as a paraprofessional.

There will be a short survey of parents whose children were referred under this program. The District’s website shall contain a list of behavioral service providers with whom the District contracts.
