    Head Start
    Head Start is a Federal and State funded preschool program. The Deer Valley Unified School District offers Head Start at several elementary sites. There is no charge for eligible families.

    Prevention Services
    The Deer Valley Unified School District offers prevention programs to address potential student alcohol and drug use and abuse, low self-esteem and self-destructive behaviors.

    Promotion, Retention, Acceleration & Grading Handbook
    Promotion, retention, acceleration, and grading guidelines are designed to establish a procedure for providing an appropriate academic intervention and/or enhancement program for each student in Deer Valley Unified School District.

    The Structured English Immersion (SEI) program consists of daily instruction in English language development involving listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
