Hello wonderful 6th graders and parents! My name is Staci Esene and I am a returning member of the Dream Team at The Traditional Academy at Bellair. I was born and raised in Arizona. I graduated from ASU in 2004 and spent 10 years teaching here at Bellair. I LOVE the Bellair family! I took a few years away from teaching to raise my daughters. Now that the youngest is ready for Kindergarten, I am excited to return to teaching and the Bellair Family.
I am married to my Incredible husband, Pelema Esene, who was born and raised in American Samoa. Many of the Bellair families know him as Coach Pelema from the football field or the basketball court. The island life and Samoan culture is a large part of who I am today. Together we have two daughters who both attend the Traditional Academy at Bellair. During the summer, our daughters compete for the Bellair Baracuda Swim Team.
I am looking forward to an incredible year teaching 5th and 6th grade science and social studies!
