Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year and my twenty-fifth year teaching in the Deer Valley School District. During my years, I have had the pleasure of teaching 1st-4th grade gifted students Reading, Writing, and Math. This year, I will be working with gifted students through the SPARK Program, which means I'll be working closely with classroom teachers to provide content enrichment to students at all grade levels. I will also be teaching 7th grade Math using our Saxon Math program.
The SPARK Program addresses the unique needs of gifted students, and offers assistance to high-achieving and high-potential students as well. Students will attend certain days during the week, depending on classroom needs and schedules.
