I grew up Nebraska and I am still an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan. I was a PE teacher for 17 years and am currently the Athletic Director at Deer Valley High School. I attended Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, earning my degree in Physical Education. I earned my Educational Administration degree in 2015 from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Although I started my teaching career at Mountain Shadows Elementary, I have since found that High School is the place for me. I was the Head Girls Basketball Coach and Physical Education teacher at Barry Goldwater, prior to my move to be a Skyhawk. My favorite thing as AD is seeing our student-athletes excitement and all of their successes.
