    Here at Desert Sky Middle School, each of our students demonstrate STAR Qualities:

    In our performing arts program, we embrace these STAR Qualities within our classroom, on our campus, within our community, and when we travel to represent Desert Sky Middle School. We are safe when we follow rules, committ to procedures, make choices that benefit ourselves and the group in a positive manner. We are a team player when we put others before ourselves, are problem-solvers, and we take on leadership to help improve our ensemble. We are accountable when we come to class prepared, take ownership for our mistakes, and help a friend who is in need. Last, we show respect when we lift one another with our words, are kind to one another and to our surroundings, and we leave things better than we found them.
