Welcome Knights!
My name is Shanon Fleming, and I am so delighted to be your child's 3rd grade teacher for this upcoming school year!
I have been teaching for 18 years. This is my 10th year teaching 3rd grade in Deer Valley Unified and my second year at Inspiration Mountain! I was born in New York, but have lived in Arizona most of my life. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development and then went on to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona, BEAR DOWN!
My husband, Timothy and I, have been married for 20 years and together we have a daughter, Elly, who will be a Freshman this year. As a family we enjoy traveling in our fifth wheel every summer. We love to go to the mountains, beach and Disneyland. We are a big soccer family. On the weekends you can find us at the soccer fields. My husband coaches, mentors referees and Elly has played soccer since she was 4 years old and this will be her 4th season on CCV Club.
