My name is Shanna Weible (why-bull) and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year!

          I was born in Washington State, but have been in Arizona for most of my life. My husband, Tim, and I have a son, Carson, who will be 6 in September and daughter, Emily, that will be 2 in November. We love to play, go to the park, swim read a lot of books and spend time with our family!

         Teaching has always been my dream. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. This is my 2nd year at Inspiration Mountain and my 13th year teaching! I've taught 3 years of 1st grade and this is my 10th year of kindergarten.

          This is an exciting time for your child, although he/she may be a little apprehensive about going to a real school. This is also a time of mixed emotions for parents---joy that your child is ready for school, but sadness because he/she is growing up! I feel that each child should be given the opportunity to learn and achieve greatness. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the growth from the beginning to the end of the year, it's truly amazing what each child accomplishes during our time together!

          Be assured that I will do my best to make this school year an enjoyable time for your child, but also a time filled with real learning.  The skills we practice daily are the building blocks for your child's future success. I am asking you to become a partner with me in your child’s education. I will only have your child for a short time, so I want to make a contribution that will last a lifetime.
