I am thrilled to be a part of the Inspiration Mountain Knights family this coming school year. This year marks my 12th year teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District, where I've had the privilege of working most of those years at Anthem School and, more recently, at Union Park. 

My desire to become a teacher started at a very young age. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education while raising my family. Most of my teaching years have been in 4th grade, where I mostly taught mathematics.

My family and I are originally from Pennsylvania. We took a leap of faith some 24 years ago and moved to Arizona and never looked back. Our family is continuing to grow with 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren. We enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time together. 

I am excited about starting this new adventure with my upcoming students.
