Mallory Mink
Hello! My name is Ms. Mink and I am so glad to be joining the Sunrise 5th Grade Team this year! I moved to Phoenix this summer from Colorado Springs, Colorado. However, this is not my first time living in Arizona. I lived in Arizona from Middle School through graduation at Arizona State University. I graduated from ASU with my degree in Elementary Education in 2008. I started my first year of teaching 5th grade in Tempe. After my first year of teaching I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. While in Michigan I worked in various education positions K-8th grade. I moved to Colorado just before I had my daughter in 2013. I was able to take some time off to spend at home with her before I dived back in fulltime to teaching. The past 3 years I taught 5th grade in Colorado Springs. While in Colorado Springs I was thrilled when I had my son in 2019. This summer I decided to make my move back to Arizona and am very excited to be back and teaching 5th grade at Sunrise. Things are new and changing but I know this is going to be an amazing year together!
