About
I have been teaching at Anthem school since 2004 with a background and side interest in mural painting, and other fine art. I have a bachelor's degree in art education from Indiana University and a master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University.
My passion is education and designing new and exciting lessons for my students to express their creative process. Art is relaxing. Art is fun! Art is important.
Students this year will be using previous learned skills in art and developing them further to become more independent artists along with learning new concepts to add to their visual art creative process. Lessons will include cross-curricular activities with themes based on grade level standards and student interests.
