    **Cellphones are NOT a part of our curriculum and students will need to put their phones in their backpacks until our scheduled breaks.**

    An example of a typical daily schedule:

    1. All students are required to be seated in class promptly at 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm. Parents, please be prepared to pick up students at 6:30 pm.

    • Attendance will be taken
    • Complete a bell work/discussion assignment
    • Receive a preview of the day's learning
    • Have an opportunity to ask questions

    2. Instructional time from 3:20 - 4:35 pm

    • Students will be completing assignments in Canvas after direction instruction.
    • Students are allowed to have water only while on campus.
    • Students are allowed to have a small snack that does not create a mess in the classroom.

    3. In Building Break 4:35 - 4:45 pm

    • We will take a break as a class at approximately 4:15 pm.
    • Students will be allowed to use their cellphones at this time.
    • Students are not allowed to leave the building.  

    4.  Instructional time from 4:45 - 5:45 pm

    • Students will be completing assignments in Canvas after direction instruction.
    • Students are allowed to have water only while on campus.
    • Students are allowed to have a small snack that does not create a mess in the classroom.

    5. In Building Break 5:45 - 5:55 pm

    • We will take a break as a class at approximately 4:15 pm.
    • Students will be allowed to use their cellphones at this time.
    • Students are not allowed to leave the building.  

    6.  Instructional time from 5:55 - 6:15 pm

    • Students will be completing assignments in Canvas after direction instruction.
    • Students are allowed to have water only while on campus.
    • Students are allowed to have a small snack that does not create a mess in the classroom.

    7.  Review and closure 6:15 - 6:30 pm

    • Complete the exit/discussion question

    Remember, completing your assignments during instructional hours ensures that you do not have homework! 

    The pacing of course work:

    • Students will meet daily with the teacher of record as outlined above
    • Students will not be permitted to work ahead
    • New content will be available daily
    • Coursework is expected to be completed that day
    • There is no homework unless the daily coursework is not completed.
    • Student's active participation is expected throughout the enrollment period beginning March 18th until May 2nd.
    • All assignments must be completed prior to Thursday of Week 6.  No missing work will be accepted Week 7.
    • Students must maintain at least 55% weekly in the grade book to continue progressing each week.

    The Pathways' attendance policy:

    • Students are allowed two (2) absences
    • On the third (3rd) absence, the student is subject to withdrawal
    • Students greater than 10 minutes late to class will be charged with an absence
    • Students may opt to Appeal the withdrawal
      • The student will receive instructions of Appeal
      • The student will submit the Appeal information within 24 hours of receipt of Appeal instructions
