    Our Mission: The BGHS Science Department is to foster a passion for science that produces lifelong learners.  We will collaborate, share best practices, and encourage creativity; all the while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism.  We will accomplish this through mutual respect, having fun, and presenting ourselves as a unified force.
     
    Barry Goldwater Science offers a variety of High School, MYP and IB, rigorous, challenging and diverse courses! At every level, we provide students with lab based, real world application and exposure. As our world becomes more and more technical and scientific, we find it important to offer a wide variety of courses to fit all future career goals and interests. Here are the current courses we offer in science.  All of our science courses, whether they are required for the IB program, MYP program or taken as electives for graduation, they allow students to go above and beyond a typical high school experience in the sciences:
