Hi! I'm Ms. Glory.

Since early childhood, I have absolutely loved to read! That same love of reading was passed on to my daughter. She now holds a Master's Degree in Library Science and Information Systems. In turn, she taught her son to love not only reading, but to write and illustrate three of his own small books - thus serving as living proof that - Reading is Contagious!

Eight years ago, when I began serving as the Greenbrier Library Media Clerk. I discovered that seeing the faces of children when they identify with characters or emotions discovered during Story Time is one of my favorite things in life. Those marvelous, connective, teachable moments are so magical!

In addition, while considering it a privilege to search for activities and books to enliven your children's interests, I will be striving to impart the same contagious love of reading as well. Recently, I found a quotation that impacted me, "One child, one teacher, one book, one pen - can change the world". I think of the wonderful educators at Greenbrier and I'm glad to locate whatever resources each requires to be that special kind of teacher - with the potential to change the world one child at a time. Amazing!

King - Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series, Jane Austen - all, Stephanie Barrons -  Jane Mysteries, Harper Lee's -To Kill A Mockingbird, Charlotte, Anne, & Emily Bronte - all, Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce series, Laura Childs - Mystery Tea cozies, The Count Of Monte Cristo - Dumas, Tasha Alexander's - Lady Emily series, Rebecca - Daphne du Maurier, Sommerset Maugham's works, various Historical novels and Biographies, Lauren Willig - Pink Carnation series, Enola Holmes series by Nancy Springer & my favorite of all -
