      Hi! My name is Heather Lorenzen and I am the art teacher at Greenbrier. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Two Dimensional Design and Design/Graphic Design. I also earned a Standard Secondary Education (6-12) Endorsement, an Art PreK-12th grade endorsement, and a Structured English Immersion endorsement (PreK-12). I've been teaching art for over 15 years. I have experience teaching art at the elementary, middle, and high school level at other school districts before teaching at Greenbrier. I was also an Art Director at a camp for children with hearing and vision impairments. When I am not teaching at Greenbrier, I instruct painting parties and art classes through my business, Get Happy Art. I feel that these various teaching experiences have given me the knowledge and skills to teach art classes that are not only fun but also educational and engaging.
