Boulder Creek is finally my home, and my favorite subject World History! I have been at Canyon Springs Elementary for the past 9 years teaching mostly sixth grade, but had an absolute blast with my third graders last year. I have also been coaching the BC divers since 2007 and run the diving team AZHeat at the Anthem Community Center.
I married the love of my life, Eileen, in 1993 and we have two daughters, Kimber and Samantha, who are both off to college. So the next chapter of parenthood has now begun, empty nesting.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area with my sister Laura who is still in Martinez, my sister Kira who is now in Lincoln, Nebraska, and my brother Mike who went home to the Lord in 1996. My parents have retired in NW Arkansas. After a year at the University of Iowa I found a home at Cal State Chico where I earned my BA in Liberal Studies (teaching) with an emphasis in Humanities (History/Religious Studies).
I am looking forward to a fantastic year.
