Bicycles
Many students ride their bikes to and from school. Bike riders are reminded to obey all city rules for riding safety. Bike riding is not allowed on school grounds, in the parking lot, or on sidewalks surrounding the school. Bicycles are to be walked across streets. Bike racks are available at the north end of the campus. Student-provided chains/locks must be used. The school will make every effort to protect bicycles, however, as with other personal items brought to Sunrise, we cannot accept financial responsibility for bicycles. Riding a bicycle to school is the student's choice and the student must assume the risk of vandalism or theft. Although kept to a minimum, vandalism and theft have occurred in our bike areas, so please be aware. Theft of bicycles from the school grounds should be reported to the police either by the student or parents.
