• Hello Families and Students!

    My name is Jarica Chesser. I am very excited to be at Sunrise Elementary as your Response to Intervention (RTI) Behavior Coach.  I have been in the field of education for 18 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s Degree in School Administration.  I am married and I have a son who starts 7th grade this year! It is so hard to believe how fast it all goes.

    I am looking forward to working and collaborating with teachers, families and our amazing students to make this year a success! My office hours are 8am to 3pm Monday through Friday. I can be reached by email at Jarica.Chesser@dvusd.org.
