JR. EQ AMBASSADORS

Third grade students have the opportunity to participate in the J.R. EQ Ambassador program at Legend Springs.  In addition to our weekly EQ lessons, the entire third grade will be diving deeper into the 4 EQ guiding questions as they learn about leadership and being role models at Legend Springs.  To culminate our monthly lessons, each class will be completing service projects throughout the year.  They include:

• Recycling - You Can Make a Difference

• Kindergarten Helpers

• Orchard Pointe at Terraza Assisted Living: Kindness Cards

• Campus Clean-Up

Special Third Grade Service Projects

• Reading with a Friend at Orchard Pointe Assisted Living (December)

• Book collection and can food drive for The Phoenix Rescue Mission (December)

EQ Leader of the Month

Each month, the third grade teachers will be selecting one student from their class to be the EQ Ambassador of the month.  Teachers will be looking for students that are exhibiting the qualities of:  kindness, using positive talk, making an honest effort, and focusing on solutions instead of problems.  These students will have the opportunity to participate in additional leadership opportunities and attend our leadership lunch at the end of each month.
