Hello!

Welcome to 1st grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year and to work alongside you to help your child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I am an Arizona native, and I have been teaching for 20 years in grades K-3. Sunset Ridge has been my workplace for the last 18 years, and I look at it like a second home where I have developed close relationships with my coworkers and families throughout my time here. In my personal life, I have a partner, Tyler, two awesome kids, two dogs, and three cats. Our home is never boring! I enjoy any free time volunteering at Phoenix Children's Hospital with its animal-assisted therapy program, reading, traveling, listening to Taylor Swift with my daughter, watching my kids play soccer, and spending time with friends and family. Last August, I returned to school to further my education and pursue my graduate degree. I will finish in March of 24' with my degree in Psychology. I always like to remind my students of the importance of being life-long learners.
