Hi my name is Nikki Bartel.  I am the service coordinator for 2nd and 3rd grade at Sunset Ridge.  I truly love working at Sunset Ridge and working with your children.  I have a bachelors in special education and a Master's in reading.  I have been a teacher since 1997.  My previous experience was in developmental preschool.  My experience has included working with students with autism, emotional disabilities as well as intellectual disabilities.  I want to be able to meet the needs of the student as well as the parents.  Please feel free to contact me at anytime with any concerns, questions, etc.  Email is the best way to reach me.  My email is Nichole.Bartel@dvusd.org.  Teaching and helping your child grow and learn is my passion and I am looking forward to helping your child reach their full potential.
