Welcome to 6th grade math and science!
Teaching students how to learn has been a passion of mine throughout my teaching career. I began my career in Mobile, Alabama and then moved back home to Georgia and taught in both public and private schools for many years. My husband and I recently moved to Phoenix, and are still getting used to this weather!
My family grew up in Georgia and we still enjoy going back home to visit our family. My oldest son graduated from college in Boulder, Colorado this past summer and has recently moved to Seattle to begin his career in genetics. My youngest son still lives in Georgia and is beginning his career in the business industry and hoping to own his own company in the future. Our family enjoys all sports and especially the Crimson Tide football team! ROLL TIDE!
I have a bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in biology from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I completed my Masters degree in middle grade math and science from Valdosta State along with my gifted endorsement in my prior school district.
I am looking forward to a great school year.
