Hello! My name is Tami Biggs and I am so excited to be your teacher this year. This will be my fourth year teaching at Sunset Ridge. I previously taught 6th grade science/social studies, 8th grade science, and 6th grade math. I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University and my Bachelor's Degree in History from Arizona State University. I am highly qualified to teach Middle School Science, Middle School Social Studies, Middle School Math, and High School History.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Taylor, for 17 years. We have three children who are 10, 13, and 15 years old. We also have two dogs, Hiro and Macey, as well as a bearded dragon named Oscar! I am originally from Fair Oaks, California, but I've had the opportunity to live in several different states back when my husband was in the Marine Corps. We moved to Phoenix from New Jersey and I've loved every minute of living in the desert (I'll take the heat over snow and ice any day!) If I'm not busy with my kid's activities (soccer, dance, and acting), I can usually be found reading, watching reality TV show competitions, or playing cards with friends and family. I am looking forward to having an amazing year with everyone!
