This is my 25th year of teaching in the Arizona public school system. I have worked as a classroom teacher (Grades 2 and 3), a K-3 reading coach and a reading interventionist. I attended Northern Arizona University (NAU) for my undergraduate degree, Grand Canyon University for my teaching credentials and back to NAU for my graduate degrees. I have a master's degree in education (emphasis counseling) and in educational leadership.
My hobbies include reading, walking, biking and hiking. I also love to travel with my husband, who was my high school sweetheart! I have three grown children and love spending time with them when their busy schedules will permit.
