Mr. Thomas Standring
Born and raised in United Kingdom, I moved to the United States in 2001, when I was 8 years old. Did most of my elementary and secondary
schooling in the Deer Valley district (Legend Springs, Hillcrest, and Mountain Ridge). Finished my high school career in Connecticut.
Graduated Arizona State University in 2016 and received a BA in History, and then returned to receive my recommendation and teaching certificate.
I had difficulties myself as a student, especially participating in classes that I did not personally invest in. This gives me an effective ability to understand the
problems that students can have. History lives and collapses because of the teacher, so it is my responsibility for the students to be interested and active with the material we are covering.
