Welcome to 1st Grade!!! I am excited about being your child's 1st grade teacher. This is my 9th year in Deer Valley Unified School District and the 13th year of teaching in Arizona. I previously taught at the Dysart School District. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and Fourth Grade as well as coached cheer, soccer, and softball. I graduated from California State University San Marcos and moved to Arizona to take a teaching opportunity. I am married to my husband Mark and I have three fur babies. I have a pug named Packer (a huge Green Bay Packers fan) and a brother and sister, Boston Terriers named Augusta (Auggie, named after The Masters for golf) and Valley (named after the Phoenix Suns). We are huge sports fans! In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, traveling, and I enjoy running and hiking. I am so excited about getting this year started, and I am expecting great things for them and a great year for all!
