Hi!  Welcome to Sunset Ridge's Developmental Preschool! My name is Shelly Monestime and I am the classroom teacher. This will be my 29th year of classroom teaching! I played basketball in college at Colorado State University and University of Central Missouri. I received my Bachelors in Special Education and my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Central Missouri. I am a Highly Qualified Certified Teacher in Early Childhood Special Education. 

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jason, since 2004 and we have a house full of children and two dogs and I wouldn't have it any other way.   When I'm not in school I enjoy playing basketball, doing crossfit, and shopping.  With my family, we love to watch movies, swim, eat out, and hang with our family and friends. We moved to Arizona summer of 2012 and I have taught at Anthem's Developmental Preschool 2012-2015 and then I moved at Sunset Ridge School. Thank you for entrusting me with your precious little one! I look forward to another wonderful year with you and your child!
