Yearbook Club

Yearbook is a club that is open to 5th and 6th graders that gives students experience in print media publishing. This club works toward the completion and selling of a finished product, The Las Brisas Yearbook. Being in Yearbook allows students experience in photography, computer design, personnel time management, and writing creativity that come together to form a book that captures the spirit of our school. During our meeting times, students will compose all elements of the computerized text layout, and have the opportunity to work with graphic arts, and digital photography. Yearbook is a club where students must cooperatively work together with others, must be industrious, and be eager to be creative. During the day and after school, students may be taking digital photos. Students are responsible for the proper care and handling of all devices.

Yearbook staff members must always conduct themselves properly in the building and community when representing our staff, behaving in a courteous and respectful manner. Club members must attend as many meetings as possible. If you are going to be absent, please inbox Mrs. Killman. Excessive absences, improper use of technology or complaints about disruptive actions in classrooms, hallways, or at extracurricular events may result in the possibility of removal from the club.
