Welcome! I am thrilled to be part of the Mirage Team. This is my seventh year teaching at Mirage. I have been an educator for 35 years.
It is going to be an amazing year! Second grade is such an important time in a child's educational life. Together we will build a strong classroom family. The students will learn basic skills required of second graders. We will celebrate our growth and success!
Mirage is a No excuses University (NEU) campus. This program instills in students that everyone has the opportunity to further their education beyond high school. One of the pieces within this program is that each classroom represents a different university or college. Our class will be partnering with and representing the University of Wisconsin- Madison. The college colors are red and white.
My husband Rodney and I moved to Arizona in 2017 from southeastern Wisconsin. We are enjoying the warm weather and friendly communities. My hobbies include reading, golfing, watching football, baseball, shopping at resale stores and spending time with family and friends. We have two daughters; McKenna lives in Milwaukee Wi. and Hanna lives in St. Petersburg Fl. We look forward to their visits.
