  • SS 4th Quarter

    This quarter will be about how the organization of colonies had a profound impact on the development of the United States. In this unit, students will examine reasons for different people coming to America as well as their reasons for settling in each geographical area. Students will compare colonies including the reason for the settlement, economics, geography, and belief systems.

Science

  • SCI 4th Quarter

    This quarter will focus on energy, magnetism, and electricity.  Students will create a model that demonstrates a system transferring energy from one object to another; even if the objects are not touching each other. Then, they will develop an energy model that moves electric currents from place to place. Students will develop and use a model that demonstrates magnetic forces. Finally, we will use evidence to create an argument about the impact of renewable and nonrenewable resources to generate electricity.
