Hello Viper Family,
My name is Regina Yonan and I am thrilled to be joining the Sierra Verde Family as the new Special Education Teacher. This will be my first year of teaching. I found my passion for teaching while I was a long-term substitute at Hillcrest Middle School this past year. During that time, I fell in love with Special Education and was blessed with a chance to be a part of the Deer Valley Teacher Prep Program.
I graduated from the University of Arkansas (Little Rock) with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and also earned my Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Argosy University (Chicago). I have a background in accounting, along with real estate and construction.
When not at school, the hubby and I are busy working on renovation projects together. We also play Uber driver to our 2 awesome kiddos— Lyda (14), our competitive figure skater that is heading to Mountain Ridge and Luca (8), our Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor that will be attending Sierra Verde this year.
I can’t wait to see what this school year brings. I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you!
