Hello Wolf Pack!

I'm Coach Bauer, and I am so excited about beginning my first year here at Canyon Springs as your child's physical education (PE) teacher. This is my second year teaching because I was in the Peoria School District last year, where I taught Kindergarten. I was born and raised here in Peoria, Arizona. I played softball for a few years, which included playing in an AGS league when I was young, then I played in elementary school, and my freshman year at Centennial High School. Teaching runs in my family as well. My mom is a high school PE teacher and coach and my grandma was a teacher too. After playing softball for some time, I decided to pursue volleyball and played for the next three years. I have been playing volleyball for about 13 years total, because I played club as well. I love all things fitness and sports related. I am a big fan of our Arizona sports teams (Phoenix Suns, Dbacks). I'm also so excited to say that I will be coaching the girls' softball team and volleyball team this year! In my free time, I love to go to sporting events, go to the gym, hike, play pickle ball, and play card games.
