Hello Canyon Springs families! I am the 8th grade Science teacher and 8th grade team leader. I have 8 years of previous teaching experience in middle school Science in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, and now at Canyon Springs. I am also a practicing pharmacist with Walgreens on the weekends, so my life is all about Science! I can remember being intimidated by Science as a young student until my 8th grade year when I had an amazing teacher who made Science fun and exciting. I love to inspire students to be excited about Science too!
I have been raising my two daughters here in Anthem and they also attend Canyon Springs in 6th and 7th grades. When I am not teaching or checking prescriptions, I take care of our 3 cats, dabble in photography and gardening, and make gemstone necklaces. I also love Science Fiction and Fantasy stories and movies. If it's about Super Heroes, Magic, Space Travel, or the Supernatural, I am a fan! I am looking forward to a fun year of learning!
