Hello Village Meadows Families,
Welcome back for the 2024/2025 school year. I am here for the students and families, and I encourage all questions and feedback. I do my best to provide prompt responses.
My family lives in the Deer Valley Unified School District. Which means that it's extra special for me to be a physical education teacher at Village Meadows. This will be my seventh year as a teacher, and my fifth-year at Village Meadows. I hold an undergraduate degree from Illinois State University. In May of 2020, I was awarded a Masters in Education from Arizona State University. I also hold an endorsement in physical education. If your student enjoys sports, you may also see me on a sports field or gymnasium around the Phoenix metro area. During my free time; I am a sports official for basketball, football, fastpitch softball and rugby. I officiate both girl's and boy's, and I enjoy all personalities.
Each student is an equal part of the class, and will receive the best instruction that I can offer. Please feel comfortable in contacting me about any situation that you need an answer. Just remember that it takes three people to provide your student with the best educational experience. The student, parent and teacher all play a pivotal role in a successful school year.
