I was born in Mesa, AZ, and raised mainly in Gilbert, AZ. I went to Gilbert High School, switched to Highland High School, and graduated. Upon graduation, I traveled north to Brigham Young University-Idaho, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary education. While at college, I met my husband and we got married in February of 2006. Upon graduating college, I taught Kindergarten for two years, first grade for two years, ran an in-home daycare for 6 years, taught middle school science for Hillcrest middle school for two years, and now I'm excited about my second year teaching 7th grade Science/STEM at Canyon Springs!

I've been happily married for 17yrs. I have four children, one daughter, and three sons. I enjoy visiting new restaurants. Two of my favorite local restaurants are Two Brothers and Nara Thai.  One of my favorite pastimes is gardening, a constant battle in the AZ heat. I also enjoy traveling and exploring the world around me. I have visited 46 of the 50 United States and three countries outside the United States. I'm excited about my adventures as a Canyon Springs Wolf and look forward to an extraordinary year with all of you!
