After vacationing in Arizona for 15 years, I moved here from Washington in 2020. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Wittenberg University in Ohio and a Master of Arts in Education with a certificate in Reading and Literacy from City University in Washington. This will be my 24th year of teaching, with 13 of those years being at the first grade level. I am passionate about teaching reading and am very excited to begin this year as a Reading Specialist. In my free time, I enjoy attending sporting events, reading, hiking, and spending time with my two adult children. I look forward to collaborating with fellow colleagues and parents to ensure that all of our students become successful readers.
