Mrs. Jeanine Blanchard

My name is Jeanine Blanchard and this is the seventh year I will be serving the Esperanza Elementary School's community as a Response to Intervention Specialist.  Previously, I was a 6th grade teacher at Sunrise and a mentor teacher as well as a 5th grade teacher at Village Meadows.  I am so excited to be a part of the Esperanza team!  We truly are a "community" of positive learners and I love our motto...#teamhope.

As an adult learner and single parent, I went back to school to earn my bachelor's degree in elementary education.  Since then, I have taught in both the Glendale Elementary School District and the Deer Valley Unified School District.  Fifteen years ago, I completed graduate school and earned my master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision at ASU West.

I truly believe learning is a life-long endeavor and I learn something new each and every day from my wonderful students!  As a teacher, I hope to instill in all my students that their success in school and in life will be determined by their motivation, effort and a belief in themselves.  If my students develop that "growth mindset," there will be nothing they cannot achieve!
