Mrs. Martinez
My name is Laura Martinez and I am the EL Teacher Specialist at Mountain Shadows Elementary. I have been teaching for 30+ years. Teaching English as a Second Language to students from K-8th grade has been my passion. I have also taught EL in college, been a coach to teachers, and have been a mentor to student teachers.
On a more personal level, I have 3 wonderful adult children. I have a daughter and twin sons who are attending ASU. I enjoy hiking and learning new methods to help my students.
Mi nombre es Laura Martinez y soy la Maestra de Ingles como Segundo Idioma en esta Mountain Shadows Elementary. Tengo más de 30 años de maestra y doy clase a estudiantes de Kinder al Octavo grado. Mi pasion es ensenar ingles a estidiantes. También, he dado clases de Inglés a nivel colegial, he sido instructora de maestras(os), y por último he enseñado a alumnas a ser maestras.
A un nivel personal, tengo 3 hijos hermosos. Tengo una niña y dos barones los que asisten a la Universidad Estatal (ASU). Me gusta el senderismo y aprender nuevos métodos para ayudar a mis estudiantes aprender inglés.
