My name is Karen Hancock, and I am currently an EL Teacher Specialist at Arrowhead Elementary. I graduated from Prescott College with my Bachelor’s Degree and from the University of Alaska Anchorage with my Master’s Degree. This is my fourth year working in the Deer Valley Unified School District, and I absolutely enjoy it.
I have been married to my husband, Allen, for 38 years. Together, we have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Allen is retired from the U.S. Airforce, so we have had the privilege of being able to travel to many beautiful places and experience many cultures.
In my spare time, I spend it hanging out with my grandkids and husband, reading, or binge-watching my favorite television shows. I especially enjoy cooking and trying new recipes when I have the opportunity.
