Hello my name is Brian DeGrandchamp. I am a special education teacher. This will be my 4th year at Gavilan Peak team after spending 3 years at other schools within the Deer Valley school district.  I have an undergraduate degree in education from The University of Arkansas.  Prior to becoming an elementary school teacher, I spent 14 years as a Recreation Therapist where I worked with both adults and children with special needs. In 2018, I went back to school become certified in special education. My wife (Kathy) and I have lived in Anthem for more than 18 years and have two children. In my free time I enjoy reading and building things with my kids and especially chainsaw carving.  I look forward to partnering with each student to help them achieve to their full potential.
