Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Tiffaney Ellis

Born in Topeka, Kansas, I was raised largely between San Jose, Ca and Phoenix.  I received my Bachelors in Education in 1999 from ASU West and went on to receive a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and an Endorsement in Gifted Education from ASU in 2002.  Go Devils!
Upon my graduation, I began my teaching career in Paradise Valley USD, I spent the next 12 years in Paradise Valley.  Ten of those years were spent in Gifted Education, teaching in pull-out, push-in, self-contained, and flexed group programs.  In 2011, I made the move to Deer Valley USD to be closer to home.

On a personal level, I met my husband, David, in 2001 and we were married in February of 2004.  Later that year, my daughter Aleaya was born. Four years later, our family grew again and our second daughter Briley was born.  My oldest is now at ASU and my youngest is at Boulder Creek HS.
Our family enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.  We spend many winter weekends enjoying the sand dunes in Yuma, and our summers are spent traveling in our RV seeing as many different places as we can.

I love being a teacher and I feel that I have found my calling in teaching the gifted and talented.  They challenge and inspire me every day, as I hope I challenge and inspire them.
