Greetings! My name is Lindsay Trefzger, and I am an accomplished Kindergarten teacher at West Wing with 20 years of teaching experience. I will be entering into my 11th year of teaching Kindergarten this fall. Before teaching at West Wing, I spent 10 years teaching first grade in Ohio. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Development and a Masters in Inclusive Early Childhood from The Ohio State University. My son is a junior at O'Connor High School and my daughter is an 8th grader here at West Wing. Our family also includes a lively and spirited 8-year-old German Shepherd.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with loved ones, cheering on my kids in soccer and baseball, and watching college football -  GO BUCKS! As an educator, I am passionate, dynamic, and devoted to facilitating the growth and development of my students. Witnessing the enthusiasm and joy my students bring to school every day is immensely rewarding, and I place a high value on cultivating strong relationships with my students and their families. My classroom is a warm, nurturing, and inclusive space where each child feels valued and respected. I am eagerly anticipating another wonderful year in Kindergarten and am excited to guide my students through a year of learning, exploration, and discovery.!
